Maintenance Supervisor - Manufacturing plant- Industry leader in Northern,NJ

Our client is a leading consumer products manufacturer with a multi-shift plant operation in a very nice Northern,NJ facility & location.

Reporting to either the Chief Plant Engineer or the Asst.Chief Engineer,the Maintenance Supervisor will manage a shift of 6-15 mechanics.This plant uses electro-mechanical equiptment with PLC's for fairly high speed manufacturing processes.

Initial position responsibilities would include generally the following :
  * Train,lead,and motivate a professional group of skilled plant mechanics.
 * Work closely with production,quality,sanitation,human resources,engineering,
and other departments to help assure communications and productivity.
 * Lead the teams efforts in effective Preventive Maintenance(PM) Programs.
 * Provide Technical leadership in Predictive Maintenance,GMPs,SOPs,ect.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications & skillset :
* High School/TechSchool with 5-10+years plant maintenance supervision bkgd.
OR BS-Engineering degree with 2-4+years plant project/maintenance experience.
* Solid Leadership,Communications,Interpersonal,and Technical skills necesary.
* Successful record of accomplishments in PM Programs,Safety,Minimizing the
downtime,and training/developing a group of team-oriented mechanics.
* Knowledge/experience of plant consumer-product manufacturing equiptment.
