Maintenance Tech I In this role you will perform routine maintenance, preventative maintenance, changeovers, adjustments, and repairs of production as well as process equipment, for the facility and/or utility equipment. You will adhere to all bops, cgmps, and plant quality, safety, and documentation systems requirements. In addition, you will perform other related duties essential to these operations or special assignments as required.To be successful in this position, you must possess: High school graduate or GED equivalency Up to 2 years of manufacturing plant maintenance or shop experience Ability to comprehend and respond to verbal and written instructions Ability to read and comprehend equipment/plant documents, blueprints and schematics Capability to understand basic math concepts and apply them to workresponsibilities. Aptitude to work independently or in groups effectively Ability to adhere to area uniform/gowning requirements Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical components, drive systems, lubrication principles Ability to use maintenance related tools and equipment to complete responsibilities, i.e. hand and power tools, voltmeters, basic plc concepts and function Capability to work overtime, i.e. weekends, different shifts, holidays as neededHospira offers a balanced work culture as well as competitive compensation and benefits.
