Maintenance Worker

Performs detailed cleaning of offices, warehouse and break room. Performs detailed cleaning of all restrooms. Picks up trash from garbage cans around entire grounds as required. Strips, waxes and buffs floors. Operates scrub machine in warehouse when needed. Performs light maintenance, when needed. Troubleshoots electrical and mechanical problems (conveyor breakdowns, forklift repair and other facility failures). Maintains cleanliness of facility (removing refuse, providing janitorial supplies, mopping, installing light bulbs). Minimum of a high school diploma/GED. Experience in minor electrical, automated systems control and overall facility care. Experience in implementing and following a preventive maintenance schedule. Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.  The ability to handle multiple tasks, establish and coordinate work priorities. Good communication and time management skills. General knowledge of plumbing, carpentry and painting preferred. Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines. Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds. Specific vision requirements include reading of written documents and use of computer monitor screen frequently.
