Manager, Chemical Sciences

Reporting to the Vice President of Analytical Chemistry for a leading provider supplying in vitro testing products to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. The company's mission is to screen drug compounds early in the discovery process, thereby reducing the time and cost of drug development. Responsible for assuring c’GMP compliance of the QC laboratory, managing the QC laboratory productivity/backlog and resolve workflow issues with Supervisors. Also will resolve and clarify technical method issues with supervisors. Challenge is to ensure compliance in an effective and timely manner.

Background Required:
• Chromatography/Wet Chemistry (5-7 years)
• Management of direct reports (2 years min)
• c’GLP/c’GMP within a Pharmaceutical/Biotech environment
• USP/EP
• Method Development and Validation per ICH Requirements
• Analytical instruments and equipment (AA, HPLC, GC, TSA, DSC)
• Location:  Edison, NJ (Relocation Assistance) 
• Education: BS Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or Microbiology

Background Preferred (but not required):
• Lead Auditor
