For additional information, please visit www.amo-inc.com.  Manager, Document Control and LabelingManages the labeling graphics and CAD technical services staff within AMO Corporate Document Control to ensure the accurate and timely development, release and control of labeling and product specifications.  These specifications include but are not limited to part drawing specifications, equipment/tooling specifications, component/packaging drawings, labeling artwork, labeling specifications, computer generated labeling programs and formats.  Responsible for CAD/Labeling project management for global initiatives.  Ensures optimum department work processes utilizing the information management computer systems appropriately (Agile, SAP, CAD, Mac etc.) and provides leadership in the development and implementation of harmonized standards for AMO globally with regard to labeling and CAD tools. B.S. Degree or equivalent degree Minimum of 10 years of progressive Manufacturing/Operations experience in GMP/ISO environment pertaining to drugs/medical devices, domestic and international experience preferred Experience in the product labeling and packaging industry for a minimum of 5 years. Proven experience in Supervisory or Management role for a minumum of 5 years. Proven experience as project lead in multi-departmental companywide initiative relative to labeling and or computer system implementation. Demonstrable skills in CAD Engineering programs, SolidWorks and AutoCAD Inventor series. Demonstrable skills in Graphics and Computer Generated Labeling programs, QuarkXpress, Adobe Illustrator and Easy Label preferred, or equivalent Knowledgeable in packaging identification standards, including but not limited to EAN, UPC, HIBCC and the associated technologies for implementation, including Bar Codes and RFID.Advanced Medical Optics offers a competitive salary and generous benefits package.
