Responsible for overall program management and administration of executive compensation, benefit and LTI plans. Specific job duties include: - complete and submit relevant surveys covering Covance executive compensation and benefit programs - research and assess market prevalence and trends regarding executive compensation and benefit programs designs -gather and analyze peer company compensation information to support Covance executive pay proposals - gather and prepare material for annual proxy statement disclosures (including Tally Sheet and CD&A preparation) - prepare material for Covance Board and/or Compensation Committee meetings - assess impact of legislative changes on executive rewards programs and provisions and propose any necessary changes (to ensure compliance) - monitor internal executive equity ownership guidelines -administer Covance executive benefit plans (e.g., SERP, Financial Assistance Allowance and Car Allowance) -prepare and deliver rewards communications to Covance executives (including creation of annual Executive Total Rewards statements) -support the offer and on-boarding process related to executive hires - provide advice and counsel on executive position grades and market rates (for executive hires and/or promotions) -other projects and work that may be assigned from time to time Experience: Minimum of 3 years executive compensation experience Minimum of 5 years general compensation experience Minimum of 10 years experience in broader HR or general business discipline Extremely fluent with Microsoft suite of office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Preferred: Demonstrated project management skills Experience with benefits plan management (design, delivery, compliance, administration, etc.) Education: BA degree Preferred: MBA Professional Compensation Designations (e.g., World at Work’s CCP) At Covance, we help make the miracles of medicine a reality.
