Responsible for implementing reimbursement, coverage and health policy strategies and tactics for BioScience's national accounts customers. Participation in national account reimbursement and business reviews and assessment of needs and opportunities. Work with field sales organization to uncover and resolve customer related reimbursement and coverage issues. Responsible for development, implementation and maintenance of consumer focused educational programs and resources in the areas of reimbursement, health policy and advocacy. Lead HCE reimbursement and coverage strategies and tactics for both Hemophilia and Critical Care and Antibody Therapy businesses. Coordinate coverage and reimbursement tactical plan for existing and new product launches. Work closely with Director of Strategic Reimbursement to assure implementation. Coordinate both internal and external reimbursement related communication between HCE, sales, marketing and other functions with BioScience. Responsible for reimbursement training for all existing products. Work closely with marketing to create reimbursement related programs and resources. Create and implement customer and channel strategies related to our patient assistance programs. Responsible for calling regional payers and specified Medicaid accounts to assist customers and educate on Baxter Biopharm therapies QUALIFICATIONS: BA or BS required. 5 years experience in healthcare and/or specialty pharmacy specifically focused on biological products. In depth knowledge of specialty pharmaceutical reimbursement and coverage Ability to work independently. Strong communication and presentation skills. Able to create, coordinate and implement key tactics. Previous experience in dealing with specialty pharmacy, PBM's and specialty distributors. Demonstrated communication, motivational skills, and tact in dealing with customers. Highly motivated self-starter who is able to work independently, deal with complex issues, and relate to multiple stakeholders. Able to travel (50%).
