The company also provides contract management, logistics and supply chain functions for the major Johnson & Johnson franchises. The Manager, Master Data Management will act as the Global Process Owner for Master Data within manufacturing & planning, responsible for driving business data standardization and governance worldwide across all Medical Device & Diagnostic franchises and regions. This person will be responsible for on-going business guardian for master data within the manufacturing and planning areas, responsible for maintaining standard data definitions and data management processes as business requirements change. The Manager, Master Data Management will serve as an integral member of the worldwide MD&D Crossroads project team, ensuring SAP data/process definition and data configuration enables our global business processes. The incumbent will lead master data definition, standardization, harmonization, governance, requirements definition and SAP data configuration for Crossroads. The Manager, Master Data Management will work with associates from multiple functions across J&J MD&D franchises and operating companies, drive global MD&D data standardization and governance. The incumbent will ensures data management processes holistically integrate with other business processes (sales, manufacturing, marketing, R&D, etc) to fully support the worldwide business of MD&D. This person will balance the needs of individual franchises with the realities of global standardization; ensure franchise requirements are incorporated into global data definitions and processes. The Manager, Master Data Management will drive alignment across MD&D and ensure support and endorsement of Operations, Supply Chain, IT and other related functions as necessary. This person will ensure Crossroads SAP solution supports standard data management processes. The Manager, Master Data Management will ensure master data is standardized to support business processes and ensure global data management processes remain standard over time. As business requirements change, this person will work with franchises and Crossroads team to evaluate impact of changes to global processes as well as the Crossroads core model in conjunction with global process owners, approve business processes changes with respect to the data impact. The Manager, Master Data Management will drive execution of process changes into Crossroads core model. In conjunction with franchise process owners, implement data management process changes in all worldwide manufacturing and IT locations and other functional areas as required. This person will drive key stakeholder enrollment and consensus with data management process changes in the franchises and regions and champion communication to MD&D business & IT community on data aspects of business process changes. This person will build strong relationships with franchise business data owners and IT representatives. A minimum of a Bachelors degree is required. A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in leadership roles within Operations, Supply Chain or Information Technology is required. Experience leading data management teams on large global ERP implementations is required. A demonstrated ability to influence/collaborate to achieve the desired result is required. SAP experience is preferred. Expertise in data management processes within the manufacturing & planning functional areas is preferred. Process re-engineering and design experience is required. Experience leading a cross-functional /franchise project is preferred. Experience with Change Management is required. Approximately 30% of domestic and/or international travel is required.
