Our client, a rapidly growing mid-size pharmaceutical company, is looking for an experienced Medical Information professional at the Manager level.  This position has recently been opened due to continued growth within the group.  This is an entrepreneurial company that offers the best of both worlds (both big and small pharma) and is very competitive with compensation and benefits.  They are very conveniently located in Morris Country, which is commutable from Northern/Central NJ, Southern NY, New York City, and Eastern PA via Highways/Routes 10, 80, 287, 78, 46, Parkway, and Turnpike.  Compensation is very competitive and total packages can take you into the $115k-$140k+ range.

Compensation/Benefits: Total compensation (base+bonus) can go into the $115-140k+ range and also includes top-tier benefits including: a generous 401(k) plan (6%), Long-Term Incentive Program, pension plan, 100% tuition reimbursement, etc.


Challenges, Expectations and Deliverables:

 Manage the development and approval of medical, scientific, and fair-balanced responses for product information.Conduct literature searches across multiple databases and provide expert analysis of the relevant data. Provide data-verification support to the Associate Director.Provide formal review of promotional materials, as required. Assist in the development of documents required for formulary or other comprehensive review of cardiovascular products targeted to managed care, medical institutions, government agencies, and all other organizations requiring such information. Involvement with management of Call Center resources in order to ensure that all verbal and written related communications are complete, updated, and delivered in a timely fashion. Serve as a scientific training resource for supporting sales colleagues in the preparation and review of training material.

Requirements:

 BS (Pharmacy) and BSN will be considered, but PharmD, PhD, or an equivalent degree is preferred. Residency/fellowship education is preferred. Minimum of 2 years experience in the healthcare/institutional or pharmaceutical industries. 1+ years experience working with healthcare providers on a peer-to-peer level is desirable.Must have at least 1 year of experience reviewing and summarizing clinical data.In-depth knowledge of pharmacotherapy and pharmacological sciences. Strong relationship management skills.
