With a focus on biopharmaceutical discovery, development, manufacturing, and commercialization, we believe our ability to advance improvements and innovations in patient care will be greatly enhanced by our fully integrated capabilities.POSITION DESCRIPTION• Responsible for leading and driving safety performance and compliance of the site.• Assures continuous improvement of safety processes, with partner departments.• Establish strategies for continuous safety risk reduction. • Aligns safety personnel with assignments to deliver results expected in the Safety Action Plan.• Demonstrated skills in managing safety projects to bring in on time, in full.• Involves management of cross functional and cross departmental teams. • Utilizes feedback from partner departments to continually focus on the right means to achieve safety performance results.• Manages training, inspection and documentation programs to assure compliance with safety regulations.• Benchmarks safety elements against other organizations. • Provides effective leadership to employees in manufacturing, engineering and • HES operations. Interacts with senior executives, senior technical managers, business heads, customers, and suppliers within and external to Bayer. • Demonstrates high levels of value and integrity.
