Position Description:

Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the creation and execution of various development studies related to the Sterile Filling and Inspection area. Responsible for the interpretation of data nd the recommendation of key process parameters related to the filling and inspection process.Responsible for technical transfer activities related to sterile filling/inspection area as well as process improvements and troubleshooting activities.Coordinate/perform activities necessary to execute development studies:-Assist in the creation of development programs including the writing of policies and procedures. Also, interpretation and application of regulatory requirements concerning development.-Prepare and manage multiple development projects, review and approval of protocols, reports, plans, and schedules, as well as be able to write protocols, reports and specifications.-Review/summarize the results and conclusions of the development studies.-Train and assist with conferring expertise to other Pharmaceutical Technology personnel; maintain knowledge through communication through internal and external sources; and facilitate department training and maintain departmental training records.-Manage contractors as needed.Provide an environment which ensures compliance with cGMP, Health and Safety, and all other applicable regulations.We are an equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V

Qualifications:

Education/Qualifications Required:Masters Degree in Science or Engineering with 5 to 8 years of experience or Bachelors degree with 7 to 10 years of experience in the field of vaccines, biopharmaceuticals or parenteral pharmaceuticals. In depth knowledge of manufacturing/parenteral formulation, filling and inspection practices, regulatory requirements, development technologies and start-up, and management/teamwork skills. Experience with cleaning development or cleaning validation a plus.
