Johnson & Johnson has implemented a new collaborative, procurement, operating model around the world. A key element of success for the new operating model is to harness the "collective genius" of the disperse operating unit procurement teams by leveraging information, knowledge, tools, and expertise across the 1,100 person organization. Another key element of the strategy is to work closely with key supplier partners to harness their capabilities. The procurement organization seeks an experienced, energetic, hands-on leader to establish and drive a global portal and collaboration strategy & program. This role represents a significant opportunity for a creative and out-of-the-box thinker to deploy new and enabling capabilities throughout our global procurement organization. The ideal candidate will be one who has demonstrated experience architecting & deploying portal, collaboration and web 2.0 capabilities within a large and dispersed organization. This individual must have a deep appreciation and thorough understanding of the benefits and challenges that accompany the deployment of these technologies. The individual will be responsible for defining, leading and ensuring the delivery of key projects that help enable the success of the worldwide procurement organization. The position will work closely with J&J Information Technology partners. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a wide list of responsibilities including creation of a global Portal & Collaboration strategy and roadmap. Identification, justification and overall execution of portal and collaboration projects. Designing, deploying and long-term stewardship of a sustainable, flexible and scalable portal content management process. Building strong partnerships and working relationships with the J&J IT team, procurement teams, and external partners. Be a passionate and vocal advocate for the significant business benefits enabled by portal and collaboration technologies. Develop and implement change management strategies to drive adoption of technologies to enable improved business results. Continually seek to identify & implement cutting edge technology tools to drive business results through collaboration. A bachelor's degree in Business, MIS or related area is required. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 6 years of business experience. Demonstrated technical and functional mastery of at least one enterprise portal platform. Excellent presentation, oral/written communications and team leadership skills; Strong influencing skills. Demonstrated successful project leadership and delivery of large-scale projects. Strong knowledge of and passion for web 2.0 technologies. Creative, out-of-the-box thinker with strong problem solving skills. Experience using and deploying social networking concepts & tools.
