DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages proposal development and contracts for all new and ongoing business. Support sales & marketing goals/objectives as outlined below, as well as leading/coordinating global projects/tasks with the Netherlands and France laboratories as assigned. Some travel may be necessary.Performs a detailed analysis of all required documents (e.g. RFP, RFI, SOW) and based on this analysis and in collaboration with sales and internal operations experts, prepares and coordinates all supporting proposal development documentation (i.e. outline, proposal development schedule, team assignments, timelines, writing plans, etc.).Leads strategy and review meetings in coordination with project and scientific staff. Writes assigned sections of the proposal and submits all assigned sections on time. Performs substantive reviews of proposal and supporting documentation to ensure that all sections comply with RFP requirements, contain winning strategies and themes, and comply with standard format and style criteria.Establishes and maintains communications among all team members (local and remote employees, and team members).Assists in developing boilerplate documents and maintaining a centralized document management system.Coordinates with internal staff to ensure inputs are available and received in time to prepare and finalize technical and estimated cost proposal. Coordinates and obtains approvals on the technical proposal and contracts. Manages throughput of all proposals and contracts. Provides proposal activity reports to business developers and internal department heads. Attends de-briefings and supports the Director, Global Marketing to develop process improvements/lessons learned.Assists in orienting and/or conducting training on the proposal development process and procedures for new staff assigned to work with the proposal development team.Manage contracts, including writing, processing, and maintaining all executed documents, (e.g. MSA, WOs, Study Agreements, CDAs, etc).

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:Candidate must have a demonstrated ability to collaborate and effectively work as a team leader; willing to work evenings or on weekends on occasion to meet proposal deadlines; possess dynamic interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of management; and demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Extensive experience in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel and Power Point. Exceptional writing skills.Candidate should excel in a team-based environment and be able to work independently with limited supervision. Preference will be given to candidates who have first hand knowledge of the pharmaceutical drug development and clinical trials sectors. Requires a 4-year degree, preferably with a major in science related area and two years experience in related role, or Graduate level degree in related field preferred.
