The role of the Strategic Business Manageris to understand, advise and support the goals, plans, and performances of the regional business area and to assist the National Sales Director and Field Sales Director in making National or Regional critical financial business recommendations and improvements, create sales bonus and POA plans. Enabling FSDs and RSMs with critical information to run their areas/districts. Interpret and monitor the industry for anticipated market trends, customer needs. Involved with integration of the Sales perspective into the Marketing development and management process. Through consultative initiatives brings current market data and customer issues interfacing with the field and management teams. BA/BS Degree required. MBA/MS is preferred. Finance background preferred. A minimum of 5 years Pharmaceutical Sales Management experience required. Minimum 3 years District Manager (RSM) experience required.Therapeutic experience preferred. Must have excellent analytical ability. Good product knowledge. Able to travel (40%). Good knowledge of Healthcare Management and Pharma Compliance required. Must possess and demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of customer relations, product promotion and able to interpret complex information. Must possess the managerial ability to effectively organize, communicate and direct people.
