Job Description Manager, Systems Engineering Position Summary: The incumbent will be experienced in implementing Supply Chain Management Systems including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and Labor Management Systems. Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: § A proven functional/technical professional with 5+ years experience in distribution operations and systems to include: IBM AS400, Warehouse Management System (WMS), Transportation Management System (TMS), RFID, Labor Performance Systems, Scanning and Printing Technology § Utilizing relational database applications such as Access, SQL and Oracle to analyze and navigate within existing systems. § Proven track record in assessing issues and solutions in terms of financial impact, cost/benefit analysis, revenue generators, and strategic impact § Key contact in designing, and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions § Able to communicate effectively at all levels from distribution associates to upper level management § Advanced analytical skills and experience with report writing including Oracle Discoverer § Evaluating current business processes, systems, and work flows to recommend improvements through enabling technology. § Playing a major role in the development of new business systems including defining system requirements by identifying business needs. § Managing own work effort (leveraging project management competencies) to deliver technology solutions on-time/budget to exceed customer expectation § Providing direction and coaching to two direct reports. Providing annual performance reviews, along with periodic performance updates and providing challenging assignments facilitating growth and development.Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria: § Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Systems, MIS, Industrial Engineering or Business Logistics § 5+ years experience working as a proven functional/technical professional with knowledge in distribution operations and systems including IBM AS400, RFID, Labor Performance Systems, Scanning and Printing Technology § 5+ years implementing Supply Chain Management Systems including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and Labor Management Systems § 5+ years working in Supply Chain/Logistics with a track record in defining distribution systems strategy and developing distribution systems requirements Education: BachelorsJob Level: Experienced
