Manager of Commercial Training

Take global programs and deliver to local markets in their entirety, but with special emphasis on areas of need.Training Strategy: in partnership with areas, marketing, sales, SME group and development, develop appropriate training strategy. Provide assessment of skills and needs based upon personal observation of trainees in training setting as key deliverable in strategy formation. Training Tactics: support local sales/field service/marketing organization in identifying and executing existing programs to address skills needsKnowledge Assessments: ensure prompt execution of testing and assessment of areas for focus in trainingOrganization Communication: ensure appropriate information shared early and often with team participants and stakeholders. Ensure trainers debrief managers responsible for trainees as to performance in class or field settingMajor Responsibilities:Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.2. Delivery of highest quality training in class or field setting whether directly by team or through deputized trainers3. Coordinate efforts of class trainers, field trainers, and where applicable, district specialists, to deliver training that has a positive impact on customers and sales4. Contribute to development of training strategy with development group and key stakeholders5. Monitors measures of employee performance in training 6. Assesses on an ongoing basis the effectiveness of materials and class structurePosition can be located in Chicago or Dallas.QualificationsKnowledge of regulations and standards affecting IVDs and Biologics.Extensive experience in sales and/or service (5 years).
