Manufacturing Technician II

Position Summary: Performs a variety of tasks related to the processing of ingredients and/or pharmaceutical products. Operates general manufacturing equipment, such as autoclaves, and filtration apparatus. Handles raw materials and intermediate or finished products. Mixes compound ingredients for liquid products. Performs standard operating procedures to met current good manufacturing practices (GMP). Maintains records as required. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.Knowledge: Must be qualified in 3 of the 4 following areas: (thaw, blend fill, stage prep) to be considered for this level. Also you must be Aseptic Qualified as per SOP APB0014.Supervision Received: Close supervision involving detailed instructions and constant checking on work performance.Consequence of Errors: Errors can be easily and quickly detected within the immediate work unit and would result only in minor disruption or expense to correct.Contacts: Contacts are primarily within immediate work unit.
