Market Research Manager up to Director (depending on experience): My client, based in Montgomery County, Maryland outside of Washington DC, is a small but growing, start-up pharmaceutical company developing important new medicines to improve the lives of patients.  They use new technologies, including genetics and genomics, to inform their drug discovery, their clinical trials, and their commercial positioning of their compounds.  They are working to advance the science of developing new medicines and to use novel approaches to deliver these new medicines to patients. As this start-up company grows, so do their staffing needs.  As they prepare to launch their first product, they need to bring on a Market Research person.There is flexibility in this role for someone from a Manager level all the way up to Director level.  This person will play a key role in the anticipated launch of their first product, so your launch experience is needed.  You must like rolling up your sleeves and getting your hands dirty, as this is your opportunity to run the show as the sole market research person for the organization at this point!  As the company continues to grow, you will grow your team as needed. This is a company that looks for rockstars and hires only the best.  Their team is very smart and committed to their product line.  In return, the company offers work/life balance and a great environment.  With product launch looming near, my client is motivated to move quickly so act fast!!  TITLE: Market Research Manager up to DirectorSALARY: Competitive Comp Package (including generous stock options...an  opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a start-up with stockoptions...could be very lucrative!)REPORTS TO: Sr. VP/Chief Commercial OfficerRELO:  Yes (lump sum) RESPONSIBILITIES: The Market Research candidate will be responsible for providing market research leadership and integration in the development and implementation of commercial plans.  This position also provides strategic and tactical input in all levels of brand management and other functional areas through primary and secondary research.  The Market Research Manager/Director will be a key player on the marketing team in developing a strategic plan through very granular, brand-specific, market analyses.
