MARKETING ANALYST & COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST

ConMed Electrosurgery, a medical device manufacturer & marketer of electrosurgical equipment & disposable products, has an opening for a Marketing Analyst & Communications Specialist.

 

Description of Duties:

The Marketing Analyst & Communications Specialist is responsible for the design, development, coordination &/or implementation of certain programs, such as technical training & collateral development projects.  Responsibilities also include the management of communication with ConMed corporate, analysis & maintenance of pricing spreadsheets, catalog development & maintenance, graphic design, web site development & maintenance, vendor relationships & customer activities related to training & collateral development, the support of members of the marketing department, & interaction with other departments such as R&D, sales, operations & regulatory affairs.  Responsible to successfully complete additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

·  Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.

·  Minimum of 3-5 years Marketing experience.

·  Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

·  Knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, & Access.

·  Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as: probability statistical inference, fundamentals of plane & solid geometry, trigonometry, fractions, percentages, ratios, & proportions.

·  Strong organizational skills.

·  Ability to read, analyze & interpret general business, medical & scientific information from periodicals, journals, procedures or regulations.

·  Ability to write reports, proposals, business correspondence & procedural manuals.

·  Ability to effectively present information & respond to questions from groups of managers, peers, clients, customers & the general public.

·  Able to lift 40 pounds.

·  Knowledge of video-editing software, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop is a plus.

·  Medical device experience a plus.
