Our Corporate Communications Manager will develop and execute a strategic marketing communications plan that ensures global brand awareness. S/he will manage a worldwide team inclusive of staff, expense budgets and processes and will drive best practices on an global market basis.  This individual will direct and manage all aspects of marketing communications including corporate marketing communications strategy and architecture, advertising, web portals, collateral and manage all third party outsourcing and vendor relationships. Other key responsibilities include the development of the messaging platform by product line, product launch, and outbound campaigns to ensure high impact role outs to the field and customers. S/he will drive all lead generation responsibilities including landing page, offer, response, SEM, and database marketing as well as on/off-line events (trade shows, user conference, webinars, etc). S/he will create a highly productive working relationship with sales and the product and industry marketing managers to create all materials needed to drive brand and demand (i.e., campaign strategies, tactics, activities, and materials).

 

Demonstrated leadership in creating and driving the execution of a marketing communications plan in an innovative, fast-paced environment with sharp attention to execution, detail, and process is an important attribute in this role. Excellent writing, editing skills along with exceptional creativity, organizational, and project management skills are a must. Experience with CRM (salesforce.com or equivalent), web site and web analytics (Captivate or another Web publishing software) are essential. The ideal candidate will have a combination of demand generation, marketing communications, web marketing, event management, and/or field marketing roles within the Life Science/Biotechnology industry with experience marketing high technology products. A B.S. degree in business, marketing, or equivalent is required; a MBA would be a plus. The qualified candidate will have 7 - 10 years of relevant hands-on experience.
