Marketing Manager, General Infusion SystemsIn this role you will develop and execute the regional financial plan and integrated marketing plan for the general infusion systems business, which will include the Symbiq infusion system, the Plum A+ infusion system and the legacy Plum family of devices. Key responsibilities will include product lifecycle management, new product launches and customer retention. You will also develop pricing strategies, branding initiatives and integrated communication plans. Other responsibilities: Monitor competitive activities Coordinate activities with other MMS marketing programs Align with technology services and field service to assure customer satisfaction Create the clinical communications plan in concert with medical group Support the sales organization by developing sales tools, messaging and conducting presentations at key healthcare systems and GPO accounts, providing input to global marketing to support global strategy development and product development needs and working on special projects for the business unit or corporation as assignedTo be successful in this position, you must possess: Bachelor’s degree is required; MBA is preferred Minimum of 3-5 years experience and/or direct interaction with a sales and marketing organization in an electronic medical device field High self-direction and personal commitment Strong critical thinking skills Ability to understand and interpret market data, financial data, customer needs, clinical environment and 3rd party organizations impacting hospitals Product launch experience Ability to work effectively in a Matrix environment to assure achievement of objectives Capability to balance and prioritize multiple projects in a fast paced high visibility environment Ability to understand and communicate technical and clinical data in an effective manner Excellent written and oral communication skills, including strong presentation skills Ability to create and monitor a consistent pricing strategy Computer proficiency Ability to travel up to 30% Willingness to travel internationally (Canada/Latin America)Our people make Hospira an organization of stature, and we’re proud of our accomplishments.
