Mass Spectroscopist - Analytical Chemist

Jordi FLP, a technology company specialized in chemical analysis and HPLC product manufacturing, is seeking a hard working, honest and dedicated individual for an Analytical laboratory chemist position. This individual will work closely with our Ph.D. chemists and Laboratory technicians to assist in the analysis of a wide range of customer samples. This position is best filled by an applicant with a degree in chemistry. We highly value personal integrity, flexibility and a strong work ethic.

 

Applicant should have a keen interest in solving real world chemical problems and it is required that they have a strong background in mass spectroscopy. Additional experience in gel permeation chromatography (GPC), light scattering or viscometry is beneficial. The most important aspects of the work involve:

 Pyrolysis Mass Spectroscopy (PYMS) Desorption Mass Spectroscopy (DMS) Gas Chromatography Mass Spectroscopy (GCMS) Headspace GCMS Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) Tetradetection Gel Permeation Chromatography Some Wet Chemistry Methods Preparation of Technical Reports

 

Prior experience with at least a portion of the techniques listed above is required. Applicants must have strong English and writing skills for the preparation of technical reports.
