Medical Biller:

Biller is responsible for using insurance guidelines to ensure proper reimbursement for services/supplies provided to customers.

 

General Requirements:The person in this position will be responsible for auditing all orders, verifying customer's insurance, following up with the insurance agency, making sure prior authorization is obtained before supplies are delivered, initiating refunds to insurances and customers, resolving any customer issues, and releasing orders to be shipped. The above stated duties are intended to outline those functions of a Biller. This description is not intended to be all-inclusive. 

 

Educational Requirements: Graduate of high school

 

Computer Requirements: Basic Microsoft Word skills

 

Experience Needed:

Detail oriented with good communication, and customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous medical billing background a plus.
