East Coast, New Jersey Medical Communications/Medical Education Firm has tripled in sales within the last three years. Our client focuses on medical communications and market research. Aggressively growing company interested in expanding its client base.

 

 Seeking to identify a Manager of New Business Development.

 

Candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and maintaining and establishing accounts with pharmaceutical/biotech companies located on the East Coast.



Manager, New Business Development

 

Requirements:

·  5 years experience working within the medical education area

·   Must include at least 3 years sales experience

·  Bachelor’s degree or higher

·  Concentration in science or social science preferred

·  Strong understanding of both market research and medical communications/medical education required

·  Strong verbal and written communication skills

·  Extreme attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and solution oriented

·  Must understand the psychology of selling

·  Ability to work in team environment and manage deadlines

·  Must be able to balance the needs of external clients as well as internal clients

·  Travel flexibility required

·  Demonstrated expertise in Outlook, PowerPoint and Word

 

Responsibilities include:

·  Development and execution of marketing campaigns generating capabilities meetings and eventually commissioned business

·  Identifying new business opportunities with established clients

·  Developing and maintaining status reports and communicating project status with clients

·  Provision of weekly status reports regarding business development activities

 

Pay commensurate with experience.

Average base salary plus bonus based on sales volume.
