Medical Device Production Supervisor

The Medical Device Production Supervisor will assure that Kensey Nash Endovascular products are of consistent and high quality by: assisting in training and supervision of employees to achieve a high level of competence, optimizing manufacturing area processes, maintaining Quality System compliance, and ensuring accurate an timely reporting of all job progress.

Principal Duties Include:Troubleshoot tooling/process problems that occur during daily production activitiesRepair/correct or recommend changes as necessaryAid in developing and/or reviewing batch records and other manufacturing proceduresMonitor job progress reporting and ensure timely updating of job progress dateAssist in training personnel in processes and equipment set-up/use as requiredAct in accordance with Quality System/GMP requirements and provide feedback to management regarding areas of non-complianceDevelop time standards for the various recurring operations for use in schedulingAssist in reviewing manpower scheduled and ensure that the production schedule is maintainedEvaluate production operations for improved productivity and cost-efficiency

 

Qualified candidate will have Associate or Bachelor's degree in science or engineering discipline or equivalent training and experience; 3-5 years in related industry; excellent written and oral communication skills; computer literacy; excellent supervisory and leaderships skills.  Individual will be required to spend a significant amount of time in cleanroom and production areas which may require handling of chemicals, and the wearing of safety equipment, such as respirators, safety glasses, safety shoes, hair nets and lab coats.  Individual will be expected to work with hand tools, fixtures, and measuring/test equipment.
