Medical Device Sales Representative

Our client is a well-known manufacturer of medical devices used by surgeons, oncologists and  radiologists, and is the leader in this segment of the industry. They are expanding their sales force and have asked us to locate a new sales representative to sell these state-of-the-art devices to hospital operating rooms, cardiac cath labs and interventional radiology labs in the Rochester, New York area.The candidate we seek will have a 4-year degree and at least 3 years sales experience including a formal training program from a large company and a documented track record of success in field sales as evidenced by stack rankings, awards and commendations.  Medical device sales experience is not required for this position as our client is primarily interested in a formal sales training background and a thorough understanding of the sales process from prospecting to closing in a competitive environment. Strong communication skills, professional presentation skills, technical aptitude and high energy level are also required for this position. The successful candidate can expect to earn at least $130K the first year consisting of a base salary plus commission on existing business as well as an opportunity to increase income by adding new business within the base of existing accounts.
