Medical Information Associate- New College Hire - (Job Number: 0804051) DescriptionMcNeil Consumer Healthcare Division of McNeil-PPC, Inc. is looking for a Medical Information Associate-New College Hire. The Medical Information Associate-New College Hire will provide execution of day-to-day activities related to the communication of Medical Affairs/Medical Information in support of marketed products. Execute research and evaluate medical literature related to our products and the therapeutic areas in which we market products. Train employees who require in depth scientific/medical knowledge of our products/therapeutic areas. Create standard language for product information reference manuals including FAQ's for media issues and publications. Provide support to call centers responding to complex inquiries from HCPs and consumers, handling medical compensation requests and ingredient related information. Provide medical review and sign-off for all McNeil Consumer Healthcare labeling. This position requires accurate and efficient review of medical information while complying with regulatory requirements and company policies. A minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy is preferred. Ability to make sound business decisions; excellent written and verbal communication skills with knowledge of drug information/literature retrieval and analysis is required. Active professional state pharmacy license preferred. 10% domestic travel is required.
