Medical Pharmaceutical Oncology Diagnostic Sales Representative

Our client is a rapidly growing diagnostic laboratory services company offering Specialist Physicians cutting edge solutions for diagnosing and treating their patients. They have asked us to assist them in locating a new sales representative to sell these advanced Oncology genetic pathology solutions to pathology suites in hospitals as well as office-based Oncologists in Chicago, the state of Illinois and nearby parts of Indiana and Michigan. This territory will require some overnight travel. The ideal candidate we seek will have a 4 year degree and 3 or more years Healthcare sales experience with a documented track record of success, as evidenced by stack rankings, awards and commendations. Laboratory services or capital equipment sales experience is preferred, and Oncology experience is helpful. In addition, our client will also consider candidates with other Pharmaceutical or Medical sales experience with strong emphasis on clinical applications of their product line. The successful candidate can expect to earn at least $120-140K and possibly more the first year based on a starting salary of $45-60K plus a commission structure that adds an average of $75-80K per year at goal, but is uncapped and could therefore be even higher based upon personal performance. The top sales rep in this company earned $180K in 2006.
