Medical Program Clinical Specialist III

       Smith Hanley Consulting Group is looking for a Medical Program Clinical Specialist III (MPCS) to service a 7 month, renewable contract in the Rahway, NJ area.  The MPCSs will support the Company Research Lab clinical monitors who oversee the conduct of Phase II/III clinical trials.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assist in medical data review, order study related supplies, screen and tabulate clinical data (excel spreadsheets), and write clinical study documents / reports.  As needed, the incumbent may be required to create and maintain computer databases and spreadsheets, process adverse experience and site monitoring reports, reconciliation or to assist with any other aspect of the management and conduct of the assigned clinical trials.   With the exception of actions requiring medical judgment, the incumbents provide support to assure that program objectives are achieved.  20% travel required.    Minimum Requirements: MPCS III, (2CE), Direct clinical experience (e.g. nursing) or experience conducting clinical research in the pharmaceutical industry.  Excellent oral and written communication skills.  Some assignments require / focus on medical writing (e.g. protocol / clinical study report / safety update report).  Good computer skills to assist with the clinical data review, and tabulation and summarization of data.  Must be able to work effectively with a team.  Must be able to multitask.  Must possess effective time management skills.  20% travel required.        Education:Bachelor's Degree Reference Code:3020698 Email:Apply by Email
