Medical Sales Position (Wound care) – Central Florida

 

Galaxy Medical Products is currently seeking a qualified Medical Sales Account Representative or Nurse, to market our Negative Pressure Wound Therapy product to homecare agencies, hospitals, long term care facilities, and physicians.  Responsible for achieving financial and strategic goals for assigned territory; presenting products and services to assist in providing optimum patient outcomes; seeking new revenue opportunities, while maintaining existing revenue through establishment and maintenance of superior customer relationships.

Basic Qualifications:Minimum of associates degree required, from an accredited college or universityTwo years of business to business sales experienceStrong knowledge base and experience of wound care preferredMust be willing to travel throughout Central & Southern Florida, and must have reliable transportation Provide on-call after hours support as necessary.  Work with our clinical team to ensure patient’s issues are addressed after normal business hours and weekends.Able to manage change and multiple prioritiesDemonstrate ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written formatAbility to operate independently and efficiently without supervision Fluent in English and SpanishAbility to collaborate effectively with employees and business contacts and convey a positive service oriented attitudeAbility to instruct large groupsUnderstanding of healthcare industry-insurance, hospital, long term careDevelop relationships with independent referral sources, such as Case Managers, Nurses, Physical Therapist, Physicians, Social Workers, Home Health CareTerritory management, which includes selling at least 8 hours per day making a minimum of 10 customer calls.Managing daily account activities via a territory database.Developing Action Plans, analyzing data and utilizing business development funds to increase business and share.
