Our client was recently ranked as the Company of the Year by a large pharmaceutical publication. They have one of the top two pipelines in the industry and are always ranked as a top company to work for. They are currently in search for a Medical Science Liaison with a specialty in Rheumatology/Immunology experience to cover their Washington DC, Virginia, and Maryland territory. Position Title: Medical Science Liaison

Location: Washington DC area

An excellent opportunity to either grow your MSL experience or to also get your foot in the door in this area.Regionally based (not national) with travel at only 50%. Compensation/Benefits: Base compensation is competitive and will be based on your level of experience and will also include a competitive double-digit bonus and top-tier benefits such as 100% tuition reimbursement, a 401(k) plan, pension, etc.
Responsibilities, Challenges, Expectations and Deliverables for this position:
Provide medical-level expertise to designated audiences (primarily physician-based) and other medical/clinical professionals.Establish relationships with current and future innovators and key opinion leaders (KOLs) within the Rheumatology/Immunology communities. Also, be able to connect with past connections that you already have. Must be able to present to key physicians, advisory board moderation, speaker training, and various research initiatives. You will act as a liaison between the customer and the pharmaceutical company.
Experiences, Skills, Accomplishments and Qualities Desired:
MD, PhD, or PharmD2-4 plus years of clinical work experience in Rheumatology/Immunology. MSL experience is highly preferred, but not required. Must have excellent communication/presentation skills. Must be able to work independently and in collaboration with others.Must be able to cover a territory that includes DC, MD, and VA.
