MSLs are highly educated, clinically trained health care professionals who are responsible for responding to requests for scientific information with cutting edge research and working with thought leaders and clinicians, who are engaged in clinical research and post-graduate medical education, to advance scientific understanding regarding BioScience therapy areas. MSLs are responsible for nurturing, coordinating and insuring implementation of corporate, scientific and clinical approach to relationship development with thought leaders within academic, clinical and health care organizations. Participates in high level training sessions, medical congress support of the scientific booth, clinical and scientific presentations, and participates in sponsored scientific symposiums.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Identify Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and develop and maintain relationships to build scientific understanding, expertise and clinical challenge. Works with KOLs through participation in educational programming, clinical trials and advisory boards.

Act as primary liaison to investigators interested in developing investigator driven research proposals, in support of corporate objectives.

Provide product support responsively through literature searches, development of scientific slides, and presentations to various external customers.

Provide broad clinical support for Marketing therapy area team activities. Support key strategies and marketing materials, launch new products and support key congresses and publications working with the Marketing team.

Serve as primary Medical Affairs contact with key academic and community based medical centers, coordinating with Regional Managers and Sales Representatives to help identify potential key medical leaders within specific therapeutic disciplines.

Develop curriculum for, oversee and deliver training of future MSL hires and sales team members. In field training and mentoring of new MSLs.

Create education and presentation materials for internal and external use. Obtain information from national meetings and package that information for use by all team members.

PharmD's, PhD's or MD's needed with an Immunology or other therapeutic areas for these 7 opportunities located in Chicago, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Dallas, New York, Philladelphia and Boston.Two to threee years previous experience required.
