Biomat USA, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Grifols is seeking a Medical Supervisor (RN) for its Bakersfield, CA location.

 

Biomat USA, Inc. operates 63 Plasma Donor Centers within the USA.  Human plasma is used to create life saving medicines for bleeding disorders, immune system deficiencies, burns and shock. 

 

Candidate will provide medical coverage, advice, and assistance in donor issues of safety, health, and suitability.

 

Job Profile:

 

Duties will include pre-donation health screening including the measurement of blood pressure, pulse, hematocrit, and weight. This state of the art facility will collect blood-plasma from paid donors for manufacture into life-saving pharmaceutical products.  The ability to interact with people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds is required.

Qualifications:

 

Must possess a current license as a RN

Must have a current CPR certification

Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to use a PC

 

Physical requirements:

 

Ability to stand for extended periods of time
