Medical Technologist Requirements: Associates or Bachelors degree in the Biological sciences with 1-3 years experience in Microbiology.  Knowledge of GLPs and computer applications a plus.  Experience within a preclinical/toxicology setting is preferred and microbiology experience is required.  MLT certificate is preferred.  Must have experience with Microbiology techniques including reading plates, ID'ing Bacteria, Processing Specimen's, etc.  Responsibilities: Reading and interpreting routine and diagnostic specimens, isolation and identification of bacteria, processing of biological and environmental samples for microbial culture, sterility/bioburden testing, biological water analysis, and data entry into the Laboratory Information Management System (ILIMS).  Candidate must have knowledge of standard microbiology techniques.  This position may require weekend coverage.
