Position Summary:

This position offers the ability to work with our dynamic AR&D group. This is an excellent opportunity for a success driven Metrologist professional with in-depth knowledge to join a fast paced, rapidly growing organization.

Responsibilities include: Assure that analytical equipment is in good working order and that calibrations and maintenance are executed on schedule Perform minor repairs on analytical instruments, such as HPLC, Dissolution, GC, and other laboratory equipment as necessary Coordinate and perform instrument preventative maintenance and calibration Prepare, review, and approve in-house qualification protocols and reports Review and approve IQ/OQ/PQ documents and prepare change controls for instrument relocation prior to re-qualification Develop and maintain the reference standard system and HPLC column system Conduct necessary training on analytical instrument operation and maintenance Prepare necessary SOPS Evaluate and recommend analytical instruments to meet the department?s needs Review USP updates and inform management of changes and impacts Position Requirements include: Bachelor?s degree in Chemistry and 2+ years US Pharmaceutical experience In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical laboratory equipment and at least 1 year of experience servicing analytical instruments Experience writing SOPs, and reviewing IQ/OQ/PQ documents Ability to identify and troubleshoot instrumentation problemsExcellent communication skills-both written and oral Commitment to Excellence - Many companies talk about it.
