Currently, we have a great opportunity for a highly motivated professional to join our team.

Specifically, you will:

• Send equipment offsite for calibration by external vendor
• Perform In-house calibration of equipment including freezers, refrigerators, environmental chambers, RH indications, laboratory stopwatches and timers, magnehelic differential pressure gauges, and other instruments
• Label and ensure completion of documentation to introduce new equipment into the calibration/maintenance programs
• Generate of Out-of-Tolerance reports for items found to be beyond acceptable limits
• Schedule vendors for calibration and maintenance activities of equipment not serviced in-house
• Facilitate routine calibration and maintenance of designated equipment, including pipettes, pH meters, balances, etc.
• Calibrate, certify, and repair temperature, pressure, and dimensional measuring devices used throughout the facility
• Act as a liaison between contract metrology service providers
• Assist organizational personnel with maintenance calibrated instruments
• Assist in the administration, calibration, and maintenance of the environmental monitoring system and any other automated cGXP systems
• Perform various engineering and troubleshooting projects
• Coordinate work with labs and third party calibration vendors

This position requires:

• An HS Diploma with a American Society for Quality (ASQ), Certified Calibration Technician (CCT), and Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratories (PMEL) training and certification
• 2+ years of experience in Metrology/Calibrations in a GXP environment
• Thorough knowledge of instrument qualification and calibration requirements
• The ability to read/prepare documents, and calibrate/maintain equipment
• PC proficiency
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
