Mgr. Controlling, Product Supply AH Operations

Bayer Animal Health operates in more than 100 countries worldwide and is wholly part of Bayer Group internationally.Bayer is seeking a talented individual to manage the following duties:Incumbent will act as lead controller for Product Supply Animal Health Operations to assure competitive performance in terms of financial analysis of production steering parameters (COGS, plant operating costs, headcount, capital expenditures, cost saving projects, inventory and financial KPIs) and the associated forecasting and planning processes.Connect with the BHC PS controlling community and country organizations, especially with the headquarters group in Monheim and BHC sister sites in Kiel, Grenzach, Myerstown and Berkeley.Manage both SAP and Siebel processes for establishing a report system that supports monthly and annual financial and KPI reporting as well as provides a tool for steering the Shawnee PS business. · Review the financial / operational performance of the Shawnee manufacturing site and provide financial oversight and analysis to the Shawnee operations management via monthly, quarterly and annual reporting. This includes coordination, preparation and commenting of reports and recommendations for corrective actions.· Coordinate Shawnee PS Target Setting, Budget and Rolling Forecast processes consistent with corporate and BHC guidelines.· Provide financial overview, analysis and forecasting of OPEX, CAPEX, product costs, inventory levels, DOH, to the PS AH Operations management. Provide feedback regarding the efficiency of PS-AH Operations via review of various KPIs. Assist PS-AH Technical Operations and PS-AH SCM in Monheim by providing relevant product and manufacturing costs and other analysis.· Implement SAP and Siebel analysis and reporting within PS-AH NA.· Coordinate process of identification, reporting and control of savings initiatives.· Support the business management of AH North America in development and execution of a strategic plan for AH. · Act as a liaison between PS AH NA Head and PS-AH Controlling as well as AH NA BPA.· Assist in the development of the Capital Expenditure Plan for AH and provide support for capital projects.· Provide financial support for PS-AH NA and AH NA projects.Review financial systems and procedures to ensure that they are operated and controlled in an efficient and effective manner. · Support the Site Development Initiative by providing financial assessment of potential projects / partnerships, ongoing financial data management / assessment and developing / maintaining timely, accurate and pertinent program financial updates.· Maintain and/or modify manufacturing capacity utilization models to provide accurate representation of area / facility / site technical capabilities.Requirements: · Education: BA/BS in controlling/accounting, MBA preferred· Experience: Minimum of ten years of progressively responsible controlling in manufacturing/supply chain position with an emphasis on manufacturing information systems, materials and inventory controlling, and third party supplier controlling. At least five years of managerial experiences is required to integrate multinational and multidisciplinary groups and teams.· Competencies: Must combine strong conceptual, excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills, ability to successfully deal with multiple cultures on all levels of management globally. Knowledge of Bayer AG, and BHC reporting and planning systems is desirable but not a prerequisite. Conceptual understanding of IT tools including SAP and Siebel is necessary. Fluent in English is necessary, German and/or Spanish would be desirable.· Experience in / exposure to manufacturing environments would be desirable.· Travel required.Excellent company benefits package.
