These services include process, equipment, project and design engineering for GPO sites. This position manages multi-discipline engineers, contract engineers, designers and technicians to address both strategic and tactical issues in support of division operations. This position ensures that projects are developed and executed per regulatory, client and good engineering practice requirements.QualificationsHeavy, diverse experience in the pharmaceutical, food processing, chemical or other related industry with emphasis in the development and execution of equipment and controls projects. Due to the nature of the pharmaceutical business, manufacturing and R&D requirements often change unexpectedly and therefore, the process and lab equipment, facilities and controls need to be developed quickly to realize business opportunities. Good judgement is required to make timely decisions with only limited data. Familiarity with state-of-the-art materials, equipment and pharmaceutical processes is necessary to effectively develop and implement projects. Knowledge of regulatory requirements associated with FDA, EPA, OSHA and local agencies is needed to address the broad range of operations issues. Good interpersonal skills are critical to effectively and cooperatively develop strategies that meet requirements across a broad range of interests. A bachelors degree in engineering is required to effectively address the highly technical projects of the organization.
