An opportunity for a Mgr., SAP Access Compliance, NA in the BHC O&I Global Compliance & Risk Management organization is currently available at preferably our Pittsburg, PA or alternatively at one of our NJ facilities. Position Summary:The incumbent is responsible for establishing, directing and enforcing all activities and processes associated with SAP Access Compliance for all SAP landscapes for the Bayer HealthCare Americas Region, including Bayer Schering Pharma (BHCP). The incumbent will serve as the center of excellence for compliance with internal Bayer directives related to the SAP ERP systems landscapes and to implement appropriate measures to assure auditors’ requirements are met. The incumbent directs the review of service level agreements (SLA’s) with internal Bayer and external third party service providers to ensure the agreements include all Information Technology (IT) services provided, and that appropriate SAP Access Compliance levels and segregation of duties are clearly defined, established and maintained. Key responsibilities but not limited to:1. Working with the BHC O & I Leadership Team, Direct and oversee the BHC SAP Access Compliance Standards and Methodology for all BHC legal entities in Region Americas to establish the framework necessary to ensure SOA 404 compliance.2. Direct all Region Americas BHC SAP Access Compliance activities to ensure compliance with Bayer Directives 1435 and 1775 and subsequent directives as appropriate.3. Establish and implement ongoing metrics to monitor and report on SAP Access Compliance status for all BHC Americas SAP landscapes.4. Identify and prioritize areas of risk and direct implementation of immediate and long term solutions. Develop effective SAP Access Compliance procedures and policies.5. Directs appropriate measures to ensure the currency and accuracy of all authentication and authorization management systems for the BHC NA SAP landscapes and ensure a state of readiness for regulatory audits.6. Act as BHC Region Americas contact partner for Global SAP Access Compliance. Establish a compliance community and coordinate an efficient information flow. Liaison with the BHC O & I leaders in order to clarify/address issues to ensure best practice approach.7. Review IT landscape decisions determined by the respective businesses within Region Americas BHC to ensure SAP Access Compliance directives are implemented.8. Establish and implement ongoing metrics to monitor and report on SAP Access Compliance activities performed by BCBS as service provider per Bayer SLA’s to ensure they include all IT services provided.9. Provide consultation to the BHC O&I business during Acquisitions, Mergers and/or Divestitures to comply with Bayer group wide Policies with respect to SAP Access Compliance and identify current and potential legal and regulatory issues affecting information security, as well as assessing the corresponding impact.10. Consult with the regional Heads, Internal Control System Management regarding compensating and automated controls activities.This position is responsible for ensuring: required SAP Access Compliance procedures are established and implemented to provide proper system access control and segregation of duties; all external vendors are SAS 70 compliant, all SAS qualified vendors are compliant, and all Bayer Directives, specifically 1435 and 1775 are properly implemented and monitored. Additionally, to ensure compliance, this position must build SAP Access Compliance and Directives 1435/1775 awareness throughout the organization via communications, training, and team building.Position Requirements:• Education: B.S. in a Business field Advanced Degree in Information Technology or related field highly preferred• Experience: Minimum 10 to 15 years related IS/IT, including IT security, and project management experience• Competencies: The incumbent must be proactively persuasive and have organizational awareness and collaborative influencing skills in order to effect desired change and build effective, continuing relationships. The incumbent must have the ability to influence all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing; identify and solve problems at various levels of the organization; develop relationships and collaborate in order to build effective teams disbursed internal and external to the organization, some of which are virtual; and lead complex SAP Information Systems projects to conclusion.
