Our Client is a progressive, young veterinary technology company in a strong position of visible start up growth. They have an immediate need for an experienced and motivated self starter to take their presence to the next level and grow with the company from the ground floor!





This is a greatopportunity for a seasoned, but entrepreneurial sales manager who likes thechallenge of being an important member of a team of experienced veterinarymarketers on the ground floor of a new venture.





Job Summary:


Setup Mid-Atlantic Region Sales operation for new company with exciting veterinaryclient communications products. Position involves setting up a sales region andcarrying out all region management responsibilities for veterinary clinic/ animalhospital market, including sales, building customer loyalty, and management ofdistributor partners.  


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

•Establish company presence and reputation in theMid-Atlantic region.
•Sell product systems, including software and hardware, to veterinary practices.

•Manage time, territory and set up/nurture distributorrelationships.
•Install and train veterinary clinics’ staff on products, includingtroubleshooting and customer service.
• Perform sales administration functions, including developing and maintainingaccount profiles.
•Attend trade shows and other educational commitments; set up special local andregional marketing and sales programs.
•Present company values to customers in a professional manner.

•Understand the product, customers, technology, operations,and processes thoroughly to maximize sales and product value to customers.
•Develop partnerships with veterinary clinics’ staff.


Qualifications:

 

EDUCATION: Bachelors degree required

SALES EXPERIENCE:
•4-8 years successful sales experience with veterinary manufacturer ordistributor.
•Capital equipment sales experience preferred but not required
•Proven and documented track record of successful sales results
•Sales experience with both new and highly competitive products
•Ability to utilize sales and product materials to support selling presentations

•Strong established veterinary customer relationships inMid-Atlantic region
