Molecule Bench Scientist

Acountabilities is have an immediate oppening for a Molecule Bench Scientist to support parmaceutical in New England region.

Required Technical Skills:  Experience with LC/MS/Ms analytical technique, automated sample preparation and LIMS.  Alternate analytical experience will also be considered.Good documentation skill and attention to details.Good oral and written communication skillsBasic knowledge of the regulatory requirements and guidance for regulated bio-analysis.Basic knowledge of chemistry with ability to prepare standard, controls, buffers, solutions, and other reagents used for bio-analytical.analysis. 

Specific Job Description:

Hand on Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), strong assay development skills.

 

Responsibilities:

The primary role of the small molecule bio-analytical scientist contract worker is to provide quality bio-analysis support of toxicology studies and clinical pharmacokinetic studies.  This position requires the ability to assist bio-analytical scientist in the lab with bio-analytical LC/MS/MS methods development and validation for drugs and their metabolic in various biological fluids; routine samples analysis to support GLP pre-clinical studies and early clinical studies in the timely fashion.  The individual will be responsible for assisting with automated and manual sample preparation.  LIMS system data input, quality data review, and bio-analytical report preparation.  More senior roles may include providing technical guidance t support method transfer and assay trouble shooting at contract research organizations (CROS).
