Multimedia Designer/Developer

 Summary:  Conceptualize, develop, and program interactive multimedia software applications using the latest technology.

 

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  Work with Creative Director on product deliverables within the scope of services Work with Project Management on product deliverables within the scope of services Work with design team on the creation of moveable graphics, video and other interactive mediums Create and program graphical user interface(s) (GUI) of a web site or multimedia application Updating existing sites and creating original Flash animations Creating rich media banners, websites and multimedia presentations in Flash Integrate company branding, video, animation, still images, text and audio into the graphical design of web site or application Utilize various graphical software tools and technologies to transform graphical concepts into specific web designs Provide initial alpha and beta testing to software applications for final “master” Adheres to company standards and procedures Provides project and work updates to management Submit timesheets on a weekly basis Performs other related duties as assigned

Skills: Advanced flash design and action scripting Advanced conceptual development and layout skills Advanced use of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Flash HTML and Javascript Advanced Animation techniques Some knowledge of ASP and .NET Communication skills Advanced Design principles and Web design All relevant design software products Multitasking Project and time management Advanced Technical Communication Diplomacy Basic Math Skills Organization Professionalism

Education/Experience:

Certification or degree in related field. 4 years minimum experience required in multimedia design.
