National Account Manager - Trade

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This position is responsible for sales representation of Dey products to the National Home Care, EMS and Specialty Pharmacy markets. Develops accounts and generates sales in the National Home Care, EMS and Specialty Pharmacy customer segments. Builds and maintains national account relationships. Meets or exceeds sales goals. Fulfills all administrative responsibilities associated with accounts, including, but not limited to: Bid Price Worksheets Call Activity Reports Account Status Reports Proposals Sample Programs Develops and implements special projects as required. Represents Dey at national account meetings and conventions. Coordinates with sales management to maximize account sales efforts. REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS Four year college degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience Seven years previous medical sales experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal/group skills Effective presentation skills Knowledge of products, market dynamics, contracts Minimum 5 years account sales experience; national account coverage preferred.
