We are customer driven and technology focused, with a commitment to providing cutting edge business solutions and service excellence to our customers.  About the Opportunity: EMSI is seeking a full-time Network Director to work in our National Service Center in Irving, TX. Job DescriptionTo assist in the achievement of contracting and network development. Provider types to be managed by this position include Laboratories, Physcians, Nurses, Med techs, Medical Coding specialists, and DME’s.Provides project management support for projects requiring utilization of specialized networks. Participates in the development of and has direct accountability for execution of specified ancillary network strategies.Assists in oversight of the cost per unit trend budget by monitoring and documenting activities related to specific ancillary strategies and use of network providers. Manages the recruitment of key providers.Manages provider negotiations. Acts as liaison to other operational areas within the Division.Assists in ensuring compliance with specific requirements relative to regulatory, accreditation and operational performance, as it pertains to use of certain provider types. Oversee the development of provider educational materials and communications  Work Experience Requirements: Experience in a corporate environment, supporting a multi-site structure, is strongly preferred. Must have current knowledge and experience in recruitment concepts, practices, procedures and retention programs.Proven track record in managing and developing provider networks.5-7 years in a network management role handling complex network providers with accountability for business results.Managed Care experience requred.Experience with disease management programs is a plus.Ability to travel as needed (estimate 10%) to support and communicate strategies, procedures and build alignment.Strong negotiation skills; the ability to gain acceptance from others of a plan or idea and achieve a mutually benefical outcome.Ability to contribute to the development of product pricing.Knowledge of Medicare reimbursement methodologies.In-depth knowledge of contracting process.Problem solving skills; the ability to systematically analyze problems, draw relevant conclusions and devise appropriate course of action.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak clearly and concisely, conveying complex or technical information from others.Ability to plan, organize and monitor projects independently an accross departments.Computer literate with working knowledge of
