Network Specialist needed!

Accentuate Staffing is looking for the perfect candidate for a 3 month temp-to-perm position with a great client of ours in the Raleigh/Brier Creek area. Project Management experience preferred.  Position would move into Management after 18 months.

Experience in network administration and network security.
Includes all phases of a network design and implementation
Installing and maintaining various security devices
Assessing Information Security needs
Network performance management and analysis
System administration and network monitoring
Project management and documentation

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills that are utilized effectively when interacting with individuals and groups at all levels.

Detail oriented, self-starter, versatile, expedient, and honest.

Thorough knowledge and experience with:

Various firewall technologies
Unix - AIX, Solaris, and Linux
VPN technologies
Windows NT Server/Workstation
Routing & Switching
Information Security
F5 and Cisco load balancers
Intrusion Detection

Maintain corporate network security including Cisco and Juniper firewalls, Snort IDS, log management, IPSec VPN’s, end user SSL VPN’s

Manage multiple projects and develop plans focusing on proactively implementing a more stable network environment

Tasks include managing Corporate LAN/WAN across multiple sites and data centers.

Support DNS and DHCP servers, Metro Ethernet connections and MPLS network


 

Bachelor of Arts Degree (We are ideally seeking CS or related degree)

Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate FW (JNCIA-FWV)
Checkpoint Certified Security Engineer + NG (CCSE+)
Checkpoint Certified Security Engineer 4.1 and NG (CCSE)
Checkpoint Certified Security Associate 4.1 and NG (CCSA)
Cisco Secure PIX Firewall Advanced (CSPFA)
Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE)
Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
