Neurology Sales Specialist

Overview:The purpose of the Neurology Sales Specialist is to improve sales and profits in the assigned geographic and therapeutic area, by successfully interacting with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, patients and other designated decision makers and by using resources and implementing company sales, marketing and patient support programs in a targeted and cost effective manner.Responsibilities:§ Calls on targeted physicians in assigned territory to implement sales, marketing and patient support programs to get and keep patients on Teva Neuroscience products § Trains and educates physician support staff on the proper use, handling and administration of Teva Neuroscience products§ Maintains communication and integrates activities, when appropriate, with regional management and account management § Interacts with MS patients, their families and MS Societies to develop understanding and monitor effectiveness of productsQualifications:Education: Bachelor’s Degree required; major in a scientific discipline preferredExperience: 3-5 years Pharmaceutical sales experience requiredThe ability to develop strong professional relationships in a dynamic health care environment and a stable work history are required. External candidates must currently live in the geographic area covered by this position.The successful candidate must live in or relocate to the region covered. Preferred location is Northern Philadelphia.
