The Territory Manager will have responsibility for business in the North West: including WA, OR, NV, UT, ID, AK, HI, WY, MT, NE, ND, and SD. The Territory Manager will need to reside in a major metropolitan area in one of the states listed above. Veridex, L.L.C., provides cancer diagnostic products that will enable earlier disease detection as well as more accurate staging, monitoring and therapeutic management of cancer patients. The company is initially developing two complementary product lines: CELLSEARCH assays that identify, enumerate and characterize circulating tumor cells from whole blood; and GENESEARCH assays that use molecular technology to diagnose, stage and more accurately characterize tumors. The Territory Manager is responsible for accomplishing the targeted sales in line with the franchise's strategic direction, through the development of sales strategies and the supervision and support provided to the sales force on its implementation. Demonstrates strong ability to sell Breast Lymph Node and related products into current and potential Veridex customer base. Plan, execute, and follow up on sales activities for sales representatives and business segments. Develop and recommend specific sales plans and new product launches as per strategic direction. Have direct contact with the customer, give technical and professional support and do promotion of products. Produce reports of sales, calls, visits, and achievements in the territory. To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria: BA/BS degree in scientific, business discipline, 5-10 years of related experience strongly preferred. MBA a plus. Diagnostic field sales experience with an emphasis in the field of oncology and histopathology and technology selling preferred. Advanced knowledge of customer lymph node processes, along with a working knowledge of the appropriate supporting products a plus. Clinical Experience or related activities a plus. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook required. Valid drivers license issued in one of the 50 States and clean driving record required. Ability to work in an operating room setting. Ability to travel as necessary or required, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Self directed and self motivated, with a proven track record of career success. Ideal candidate will live (or be willing to relocate) in close proximity to a major airport.
