OraPharma, Inc., a specialty pharmaceutical company founded in 1996 with an initial focus on the emerging field of oral health care, discovers, develops and commercializes therapeutics for oral health. The Regenerative Account Manager is responsible for developing, cultivating and managing the strategic relationship with their accounts and Dental schools within an assigned geography. The Regenerative Account Manager is responsible for quarterly and annual sales goals specific to his/her assigned territory and product portfolio. He/she will be expected to develop and execute against their business plan tailored to the market and client dynamics. As part of the business plan the Regenerative Account Manager will be responsible for determining the appropriate strategic and tactical approaches to gain access and acceptance for all assigned OraPharma products. The successful Regenerative Account Manager will have the ability to create and execute their client business plan. They will: Develop an account based business plan that includes: Sales forecast, Marketing strategies and tactics; Develop creative solutions to expedite implementation of OraPharma products within offices and Dental Schools in their assigned territory; Have the ability to identify and gain access to the key decision makers within their accounts and schools; Identify the customer business needs, identify solutions, be able to communicate the rationale to the customer; and understand the business planning process (e.g., financial goals and account objectives). The Regenerative Account Manager will implement pre-defined sales and marketing strategies to maintain and increase sales productivity within the assigned geography. They will need to understand how to monitor, track, and read current business models. They will also look to identify pull-through opportunities at key accounts and Dental Schools. They will work closely with impacted Regional Managers and Account Managers around key periodontal practices and Dental Schools to facilitate relationships and partnerships across all products. The Regenerative Account Manager will utilize a quarterly budget in support of educational and relationship-building activities within their targeted areas of responsibility. As part of the education and promotion of the OraPharma product line, they will execute local lunch & learns, dinner meetings, and educational forums within the territory. The Regenerative Account Manager will be charged with analysis of spending and plans to maximize the ROI of this spending within their assigned territory. The travel in this role is at minimum 50% and may include over night and weekend stays. Qualifications include: BS/BA or other 4-year degree is required, an advanced degree is preferred. A minimum of 5 years Business-to-Business experience is strongly preferred. Prior sales experience with medical device and operating room product selling scenarios is strongly preferred, as is experience selling dental products. Past success in achieving superior sales results is required. Strong computer skills, including MS Office, sales database and web applications is needed to be successful in the role, as is strong clinical acumen and project management experience.
