Occupational Health Nurse - (Job Number: 0717823) DescriptionJohnson & Johnson Services, Inc., a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for an Occupational Health Nurse, located in Raritan, NJ. The Occupational Health Nurse will support Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, Inc. in Raritan three days per week and will float two days to other J&J locations in the central NJ area. Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, Inc. provides in vitro diagnostic products to hospital, commercial and clinical laboratories, and blood donor centers. Its products include reagents and instrument systems used in blood typing and donor testing; clinical chemistry determinations and immunoassays for disease diagnosis and therapy management; as well as RhoGAM, an injectable drug used to prevent hemolytic disease of the newborn. The Occupational Health Nurse will work under the mentorship or supervision of a Senior Occupational Health Nurse or Supervisor Occupational Health. Provide for nursing care in the Health & Wellness medical unit and cooperates with other members of the Health & Wellness team in coordinating the employee's total health and wellness needs. Identify service problems and assists in resolution. Participate in conferences and discussions with Health & Wellness personnel to encourage team approach to solving problems and presenting new policies and procedures. Observe nursing care to ensure compliance with established protocols and procedures. Maintain a safe environment for Health & Wellness employees within the medical unit. Operate or supervise the operation of specialized equipment assigned to the unit and provide assistance and guidance to technicians as required. Compile reports on the care and outcomes of employees seen. Investigate and resolve customer complaints. Direct the preparation and maintenance of patients' records and supplies and equipment. Current NJ Registered Nurse License required. Minimum two years of experience as an Occupational Health Nurse required. Phlebotomy proficiency required. Basic office computer skills required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent education preferred. Certified Occupational Health Nurse preferred. Experience with computer based medical documentation preferred. Working knowledge of regulatory areas, i.e. ADA, FMLA, OSHA, and Workers Compensation, preferred. Hearing conservation and spirometry preferred. This position will be located at Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, Inc., in Raritan, NJ three days per week and will float two days to other J&J locations in the central NJ area.
