Oncology Sales, Account Executive
Description
Major player in Specialty Pharmacy Services seeks an Account Executive experienced in developing new physician clients in Oncology and Hematology Programs. Position covers major accounts in New York City, allowing the candidate to live anywhere in the NY Metro area. The position entails identifying oncologists and hematologists and developing strong relationships with them. This client provides “same day” delivery of specialty bio-oncology pharmaceuticals and care management services.
The Account Executive is incentivized to increase the number of new accounts and drive revenue. He/she is also encouraged to identify new players in the specialty biotech field (with a special emphasis on the oncology products), and create business opportunities with them. Expected income is approximately $125,000, on a base salary ranging from $75,000 to $90,000, plus commissions. This is a new company with unlimited growth potential, both financially and professionally.
Requirements
The ideal candidate for this position must have a Bachelor’s Degree, and at least three – five years experience in selling in the Oncology and/or Hematology areas. Strong contacts in these specialty areas are essential.
Viable candidates will have established relationships with segment’s most prolific physician practices.
Knowledgeable Account Executive who also has similar experience in either the Specialty Pharmacy or Disease Management industries will also be considered. Outstanding communications skills, and a professional image/presence are also essential.
